Genovese – Large leaved Italian basil, originating from the city of Genoa, with a sweet, but mild flavor is one of the most popular culinary basils – use in soups, pesto, pasta, tomato dishes.

Lemon – Small, light, green lemon-citrus flavored leaves. Excellent to use with fish and in salads.

Italian Large Leaf – A Genovese-like basil with very large leaves (up to 4”). Sweeter than Genovese and useful when large amounts of basil are required, such as when processing.

Lime – Strong lime flavor excellent for drinks, pesto, and salad dressing. Larger, denser leaves than lemon basil.

Aroma F1 – A Genovese-like basil with smaller, thick, dark leaves. Fusarium resistant. – Use in soups, pesto, pasta, tomato dishes.

Cinnamon – Very flavorful leaves are excellent in South Asian cooking, as well as teas and potpourris. Beautiful purple stems make this plant great for flower arrangements. Leave some plants to flower and bees will be very happy.

Cilantro – Leaves and stems can be used in the salsas, gazpacho, salad dressings, and soups.

Note: The seeds of Cilantro, known as Coriander are not sold at this time.

Dill – Excellent in cold summer soups, and added to salad dressings. The premier pickling spice, fresh or dried. Bees will congregate on the blossoms!

Sage – Excellent for fall and winter meat dishes or chopped, combined with melted butter and stirred into pasta or gnocchi. A little goes a long way.

Thyme – Adds flavor to all types of dishes – egg, meat, and vegetarian. Especially good in salad dressings, soups. Dried makes an excellent tea.
